The great painter of the Renaissance was born in Sansepolcro in 1415, and here in the land of Arezzo he has left his masterpieces: la Resurrezione, in the Museo civico of Sansepolcro, la Madonna del Parto, in Monterchi, and the Legend of the True Cross in the basilica of San Francesco, in Arezzo (reservations are required to visit this art-work).
